Olivia Wong Too

Olivia Wong is a highly trained and thoughtful dance educator who has recently returned to New Zealand after spending a year teaching at the Academy of Dance Hong Kong. During her time overseas, she further refined her teaching practice while working with students across a wide range of ages and levels in an international studio environment.

Olivia is a fully qualified APDA Jazz teacher, holds Module One Acrobatic Arts certification, and is a PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique) certified instructor. Her own dance training is extensive, having completed NZAMD Jazz and Contemporary grades, APDA Level 9 Contemporary, and RAD Ballet through to Advanced levels. This depth of training gives Olivia a strong technical foundation and a clear understanding of safe, structured dancer development.

Known for her calm, nurturing presence and strong attention to technique, Olivia is especially passionate about working with preschool and younger dancers. She builds meaningful connections with her students, creating classes that are supportive, engaging, and developmentally appropriate while still fostering excellent technical habits.

Olivia’s teaching style balances care, clarity, and high standards, ensuring every dancer feels confident, supported, and inspired to grow in their movement and love of dance.
