Pilates at AOD

We’re so excited to be offering Pilates sessions inside our beautiful Devon Street studios.

Whether you’re a current dance parent, a past student, or simply looking for a structured, effective way to build strength and mobility, these sessions are designed for real bodies, real goals, and long-term wellbeing.

Class numbers are capped to ensure quality coaching and individual attention, so once spaces are filled, enrolments close for the term.

Why Pilates?

Pilates isn't just exercise — it's a practice that builds the kind of strength that supports everything else you do. Here's what consistent mat time can do for you:

Core strength that actually works
Not just aesthetics — functional core strength that protects your back, improves your posture, and makes everyday movement feel easier.

Improved mobility and flexibility
Pilates works through your full range of motion, helping joints stay healthy and muscles stay long and responsive — not just strong.

Better posture
Most of us spend hours hunched over screens. Pilates retrains the body to sit, stand, and move with better alignment — and you'll feel the difference fast.

Mind-body connection
Every movement is intentional. Pilates teaches you to move with awareness, which reduces injury risk and builds a deeper relationship with your own body.

Low impact, high results
Gentle on joints but genuinely challenging — Pilates meets you where you are and grows with you, whether you're just starting out or already active.

Stress relief
Focused breathing and controlled movement make Pilates one of the most effective ways to decompress. You'll leave feeling both worked and calm.
